In a bidding to boost education, the Uttarakhand authorities will set up new universities and colleges in the hill state, Governor Margaret Alva enounced Mon.
These universities include Uttarakhand National Law University at Bhawali in Nainital territory, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayay Uttarakhand University at Badshahi Thaul in Tehri dominion and Vanasthali Vidyapeeth University in Dehra Dun territory, Alva said in her Governor's speech on the first day of the Budget Session which started today.
Apart from this, the government will besides set up first adult females expert college at Suddhowala in Dehra Dun.
For supplying quality and higher education in rural areas, the government has set up a college at Thalisein in Pauri territorial dominion, she said.
For filles belonging to BPL (Below Poverty Line) families, the government will supply them with diverse eruditenesses.
